Hello Hello! I’m back and happy to announce that I am one of Himalaya’s newest brand ambassadors! They have put together a small group of respected beauty bloggers as well as fans in the Middle East Region that is part of this advocate program and I’m so happy to be a part of this. I’ve been using Himalaya Products for quite a few years now. I have a dry scalp ‘problem’ that has been so hard to get rid off UNTIL I went to get my scalp checked and the doctor suggested to try an anti-dandruff shampoo and immediately thought of Himalaya because I’m all about that natural life. 😉 And guess what? It completely solved my problem! This was one of the major reasons I decided to get on board with Himalaya – I know I can trust their products blindly! SO, Himalaya very kindly sent me a package of all these new products to try out and I decided to try The Himalaya Stain Away toothpaste first. After doing the ’30 day Lipton Green Tea Challenge’, my teeth haven’t exactly been the shinest bunch. 🙄
What is it?
The Himalaya Stain Away toothpaste is specially designed for stained teeth that is chemical bleach free and contains a selection of herbal ingredients including papaya and pineapple, which are rich in antioxidants.
What does it claim to do?
Due to its natural components, it claims to be side-effect free (hey that rhymes!) This can be perfect for those who may be sensitive to different chemicals in cosmetics. It claims to “give you up to 3 shades whiter teeth in 3 weeks” which is what we all want but, like me, may not be able to find one that actually works.
What it actually does?
If you can’t get through the day without your favourite tea or coffee this toothpaste is the one for you! I decided to put this toothpaste to the test to see how white my teeth are after 2 weeks; not sure what classifies as 3 shades lighter but there is a huge difference in colour of my teeth, which is amazing! I also noticed that my gums and my teeth started to strengthen and tighten which is also what I look for in a toothpaste as my teeth have a high tendency to move. The flavour of the toothpaste is refreshing and minty but not in an overpowering way. After doing some research, comparing Himalaya Stain Away toothpaste to an average toothpaste I found that Himalaya is Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS) free which is the chemical that causes the toothpaste to foam. To my surprise, the Himalaya toothpaste still managed to foam which is a big plus! Also, I’ve used it for 2 weeks, 2 times a day and I still have half a tube left which is such good value for money! Super impressed 😍
TLDR; Verdict –
Overall, it did what it was supposed to do; my teeth were white, gums were stronger, and breath was better! I can finally have my tea without worrying about the stain it leaves behind. 🤩
