When I first walked in, I was accompanied by two very welcoming ladies at the waiting desk, which was the first thing I loved about the place – the hospitality. We were greeted by every member of staff working at Tong Thai. They were all so amazing! The restaurant had a long corridor leading to the main dining area which is decorated with traditional Thai ornaments and red lanterns to add to the romantic mood. For me personally, I don’t think the red lanterns were the perfect choice – I felt like they were too strong for the eyes and wasn’t complementing the ambiance.
The menu included a wide variety of different Thai dishes. There’s a lot to choose from even if your vegetarian. The taste, plating and portions were impeccable. My family and I love of Thai food. One of our favorites is Pad Thai at the Madinat and Tong Thai might have just topped our list. We felt extremely pampered at Tong Thai and wouldn’t mind it again!
