The funny thing is that I’ve lived in Dubai my entire life and have never tried Emirati Food! I don’t know whether it wasn’t accessible to me or that I’ve been so engrossed in other mainstream cuisines. BUT now that I’ve tried this, I don’t think I’ll ever be able to resist a Lugimat!
I was invited to Logma to try the new additions to the menu, but I tried whatever I thought was interesting since it was my first time. I also took my parents along for an extra opinion and let me tell you they were head over heels for the food at Logma! Without further adieu, let’s get started with the review!
As you all know, the restaurant is located in Box Park, which is one of the trendiest places in Dubai right now. I personally love Box Park, I love walking along the line of shops and restaurants, it definitely doesn’t feel like Dubai when I’m there. The restaurant has a very welcoming atmosphere, the decor is simple yet stunning, they definitely incorporated their Emirati culture into their space. As soon as we arrived they took us to our table where we ordered our drinks! They were all amazing but the Karak definitely tops the list for me. I’ve mentioned all the drinks and dishes below to make all your lives much easier – You’re Welcome!
We then ordered our starters, which were all really good too! The Logma fries are their best seller but I found them to be a little oily on the day. Other than that all of the new and old appetisers were worth a try! My dad’s personal favourite was the chicken saffron salad, he said he would come back for that! #DaddyRecommends. For the main course, we went all out and tried so many things, I wasn’t a big fan of the chicken and cheese paratha or the chicken shawarma sandwich, BUT the fish biryani was AH-MAZING! I think the biryani was my favourite dish of the night.
Moving on to the most important part of our dining experience, THE DESSERT!!!
All the dessert was TO DIE FOR – my parents were once again head over heels for the dessert! We loved every single dish from start to finish and the highlights were definitely the fish biryani and all the deserts especially the lotus lugimat is worth trying! Overall, if you have not been to Logma, you should give it a try, the food, service and location are all on point! #HighlyRecommended
