Hello, my lovelies! I’m starting the week with an outfit post, where I wore a gorgeous dress by a Dubai-based designer, Shweta Wahi. She’s young, and an absolute cutie but she also knows her stuff; she has taken part in more than twenty shows, and the dress that I’m wearing was the opening look for Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in Africa, which is just WOW! Personally, I’m obsessed with this dress, the silhouette she designed is Belle shaped which works perfectly for me since I’m on the curvier side. Normally, when it comes to a loose dress with no shape I would cinch it at the waist with a belt to create a body-hugging silhouette but with this dress’ belle shape there is no need for the extra accessory, which is why it is a piece worth investing in. Although, there is a need for other accessories to make the dress stand out. Since we are working with a bold print and unique silhouette we are going to need to balance it out with neutral tones, which is why I picked a classic nude stiletto from Christian Louboutin, on a side note, I do not recommend buying Christian Louboutins; they are the most uncomfortable shoes I’ve ever bought. In this case, Sweta and Christian work well together, so I guess it all works out in the end!
Thank you Shweta for this amazing dress and for those of you who aren’t following Shweta and her creations make sure you do so; all her social media links are down below.
